Calling all Autumn brides! Are you still on the hunt for your perfect bridal hairstyle? Well look no more, because we've teamed up with the lovely Sarah Angius to bring you 2 easy, yet stunning hairstyles perfect for any wedding, prom, or special occasion this upcoming holiday season.
Sarah herself used Luxies on her wedding day, so you can bet she knows a thing or two about creating beautiful bridal hairstyles for long hair and short hair!
While Sarah's hair is already quite thick, she uses our 220g Chocolate Brown Luxies to give her hair that extra volume and glamour. Before beginning, clip your entire set of Luxies in (if you need a refresher on how to clip in Luxy Hair extensions, click here), and curl your hair with a large, 1-inch barrel.
Hairstyle 1: Braided Crown with a Twist
Step 1: Create a middle part, then take a section of hair and start twisting it toward the back. Twist for a few inches, then secure with a bobby pin.
Step 2: Take the remaining hair left out of the twist, and create a 3 strand braid. Once your braid is created, pancake it, or pull it apart starting at the bottom to make the braid thicker and looser.
Step 3: Create a crown with the braid and secure with bobby pins in the back. Then, repeat Steps 1 and 2 on the other side.
Step 4: Add a spritz of hairspray and your favourite hairpiece, and you're ready to go! The best part? This beautiful braided hairstyle can be created with medium length hair as well.
Hairstyle 2: Flower Crown with Wrapped Bun
Step 1: Put on your favourite flower crown or bejewelled headband, and secure the elastic with bobby pins to ensure that the headband doesn't move.
Step 2: Take a section of hair by your face, wrap it around your head, and tuck it under the headband elastic at the nape of your neck.
Step 3: Continue wrapping and tucking sections of hair from each side until all the hair has been secured under the headband's elastic and you end up with something like the photo below.
Step 4: Pull out little sections of hair for volume and texture. And you're done!
These hairstyles are perfect for weddings, bridal parties, or even holiday parties coming up. They're super easy to create with all hair lengths, and look totally chic and elegant.
