If you don’t have long hair or it doesn’t grow past a certain point, you will always have your Luxies to save the day. Luxy Hair Extensions can give you long, thick hair in under 5 minutes, and you don’t have to wait years for it to grow out naturally.

Step 1: Brush Hair From The Bottom Up

Before washing your hair, make sure to brush it out to get rid of any tangles. Always brush your hair from the bottom up, little by little, to avoid any breakage or hair damage.

Step 2: Raw Coconut Oil

A hair beauty secret weapon: Raw Coconut Oil. This is the super power hair product! It prevents hair breakage, moisturizes the hair, boosts blood circulation, is very rich in nutrients, and also antibacterial. Spread it on your hair where it needs the most attention. Karin focuses on her ends as that’s her problematic area. She recommends doing it in the evening before washing your hair the next morning so it stays on for the whole night while you’re sleeping. However, if you don’t have time, you can also put it on right before you take a shower. If you can, the ideal time for it to stay in your hair before you wash it is 1 hour. Then, finish it off by putting your hair in a bun.

Step 3: Wash Your Hair The Right Way

How you wash your hair plays a very important step to maintaining healthy and beautiful long hair. Do you only wash your hair once in the shower? If you answered yes (probably just like the majority of us would), then you should know shampooing TWICE is the right way to do it. When you wash your hair twice, the first round gets rid of all the dirt and gunk in your hair, and the second round actually cleans it. Then, finish off by using a conditioner along the ends of your hair to restore moisture.

Karin recommends using hair products that include natural ingredients such as coconut and argan oil. These are the types of ingredients that you want to search for your hair products as it’s naturally healthy for your hair.

Step 4: Brush & Blow Dry

After Karin’s hair is freshly washed and conditioned, she brushes gently through it to remove any tangles. Next, she likes to apply mousse to the roots of her hair to add more volume to it. Make sure to scrunch in the product evenly into your hair. Karin’s hair is long but very fine so this is a very effective and essential step in adding more volume to her hair. Now, before blow drying, Karin applies a couple pumps of a nourishing serum for split ends. This serum has argan and jojoba oil in it and also doubles as a heat protectant. Finally, when drying her hair, Karin always does it upside down for added volume. Try this trick, it’s so simple and it really works!

Step 5: Straightening Her Without A Straightener

A super neat trick you can use to straighten your hair without a straightener is to blow-dry your hair straight with a brush. Get a large round brush that is ceramic. The heat will transfer to it and act as a straightener at the same time. Karin doesn’t section her hair when she blow-dries because for her it's just as effective and is super quick to just go free hand.

Step 6: BB Cream

The final step in Karin’s long hair care routine is adding a BB cream. She only uses a small amount and spreads it all over her ends. You only need a little bit of product, otherwise, it can make your hair look greasy so be careful!

Step 7: Styling Long Hair

Karin only styles her hair after she washes it, so only twice a week. When styling her hair, she likes to tease her roots by sections. She slightly teases her sectioned hair and adds a bit of hairspray to hold the tease. If you do it right and not too often, it won’t damage your hair. She likes to do this step as it adds more volume and prevents her hair from getting greasy too quickly.
